Terms of use

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we will delete it.

One account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is posted from your account.

What you write stays yours. By posting it you give Wendle permission to store it, show it to readers, and run the checks described on the privacy page, for as long as it is on the site.

Only post what you have the right to share. Do not post someone else's private information.

Whatever a community's own rules say, these are not allowed anywhere on Wendle:

• Anything illegal, including sexual content involving minors, which we report to the authorities.
• Threats of violence, and encouraging someone to harm themselves.
• Sharing someone's private information without their permission.
• Spam, scams, and automated or mass-created accounts.
• Trying to break, overload or get around the site's protections.

Each community publishes its rules. A post or comment is removed only by a reviewer appointed for that community, whose list is public, citing one of those rules. Automatic checks can hold something for a reviewer to look at, but never remove it. If something of yours is removed, you can appeal and a different reviewer decides.

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or a community's rules, or to protect people or the site.

You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting removes your posts, comments, reactions and identities.

Wendle is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of mistakes. Members' posts are their own views, not Wendle's. To the extent the law allows, Wendle is not liable for losses that come from using the site or from what other members post.

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on the site before the change takes effect.
